Redemption Baptist Church (RBC) is a community minded church discovering together what life can be like when lived from a place of faith, hope, love and purpose. The Church was established 118 years ago by a Ghanaian Minister, Rev. Dr. Mark C Hayford. By 1928, Rev. Hayford had established 45 churches in Ghana.
In Matthew 20:25-28, Jesus tells His disciples that leaders should not exercise authority over people. Instead, whoever wants to become great must lower himself to be a servant. Leaders realize that serving others is the only way to lead with a pure heart, free of pride and arrogance. RBC is blessed with such leaders.

The Redemption Baptist Ministries were established with the mission of supporting the church in evangelism through our activities.
The ministries are blessed to have dedicated and responsible men and women who guide and coordinate the events of the various ministries.
RBC MM
The Baptist Men’s Ministry is an auxiliary group in the Redemption Baptist Church at Cape Coast, Ghana. The slogan is “IN HIS STEPS, WE WALK” (1 Peter 2:21)
RBC WMU
The WMU is a Baptist Church Organization for women, girls and pre-school children devoted to teaching, promoting and supporting mission.
RBC CHOIR
The Redemption Baptist Brigade was established in 2011 during the McHayford Day Celebration. The mission of the RBC Brigade is to support the church in evangelism

The great purpose of this noble ministry is to bring together the young and vibrant middle aged and the youth as a whole to Christ
